About the project

Challenge

Clayton Early Learning tasked The Blank Company with leading the communication, branding, and messaging efforts for their 2023 “Taste of Clayton” event. The objectives were ambitious: to achieve $100k in donations on the night and ensure 90% ticket sales. The event required a seamless integration of impactful storytelling to highlight the difference Clayton Early Learning makes in the community, enhancing the event’s appeal and driving substantial donor engagement.


Approach

Our strategy centered around creating an elegant and compelling brand experience for the “Taste of Clayton” event, reflecting the sophistication and importance of supporting early education and community support. We developed a comprehensive branding and messaging campaign that included an engaging presentation deck and promotional materials that communicated the event’s value and impact.

To emotionally connect with potential donors and attendees, we coordinated and filmed heartfelt stories from families who have benefited from Clayton Early Learning’s services. These stories were featured throughout the event, providing a powerful narrative about the positive changes the organization brings to lives.

The event’s branding was designed to evoke a sense of community and commitment, paired with the elegance of the evening. Live music by Spinphony and gourmet tastings were highlighted as key attractions, reinforcing the enjoyable aspects of supporting a noble cause. Our meticulous planning and execution ensured that the event went off without any issues, meeting all financial and engagement goals set by Clayton Early Learning.
